The 31 - 70 metre wide asteroid 2009 WN8 made a close pass (10.6 Lunar Distances, 0.0272 AU), travelling at 11.28 km/s, to the Earth-Moon system on the 18th November, 2009.

The Lunar Distance (LD), the distance between Earth and the Moon, equals 384,401 km, (or 0.00256 AU).
