Comet C/2009 U1 (Garradd) makes its closest approach to the Earth (2.652 AU) on the 22nd, November, 2010.

Comet C/2009 U1 (Garradd) was discovered by G. Garradd (Siding Spring Survey) on the 17th October, 2009.
The preliminary orbital elements of the indicate a perihelion passage on the 7th July, 2010, at a distance of 2.96 AU from the Sun.
