A New Mexico astronomer is hoping you can help solve a mystery.
He caught a spectacular fireball on video and he said you can help him track down what's left of it.
Thomas Ashcraft caught a cosmic fireball on camera. It flashed through the sky for about eight seconds just after 2 Friday morning.

There are reports that a large meteor was seen over New Mexico at around 02:00 am MDT (local time).
