Russian Mission Control says a cargo ship is on its way to the international space station bearing gifts and supplies. Mission Control spokesman Valery Lyndin said the unmanned Progress M-02M lifted off from Kazakhstan on schedule Thursday and should dock with the space station Tuesday.
The Russian Soyuz-U rocket with the Progress M-02M/33P cargo ship has successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 18:37 GMT (22:37 Moscow Time), 7th May, 2009.

The rocket carrier Soyuz-U with the cargo transport ship Progress -02 was delivered to the launch pad in the morning on May, 5th to the cosmodrome Baikonur.
