United Launch Alliance technicians today continue to work on a valve problem that prevented fuelling of a Delta 4 Heavy rocket Wednesday and scrubbed an evening launch attempt from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
ULA hopes to launch the rocket and its classified satellite at 00:41 UT today.

Just what it is designed to do is top secret, but there is no doubt it can put any gadget James Bond ever carried in the shade.
The most sophisticated and expensive spy hardware ever built is set to be hurled into space from Cape Canaveral today.
Dubbed NROL-29 because it belongs to the US National Reconnaissance Office, its total cost, including the launch rocket, has been estimated at more than $US2 billion ($3 billion).
According to the US journal Aviation Week, the satellite is an electronic intelligence spy, designed to snoop on all sorts of communications, including mobile chit-chat by terrorists.

It should be an exciting day for space fans.
Starting before sunrise today, shuttle Discovery is scheduled to begin a slow, six-hour ride to its seaside launch pad at Kennedy Space Centre.
Later, at 7:45 p.m., a United Launch Alliance Delta 4 Heavy rocket -- the most powerful of America's unmanned launch vehicles -- is expected to blast off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

The launch window has been rescheduled for 7:45 p.m. EST on Wednesday evening.

The Space Coast's first unmanned rocket launch in seven months is scheduled to take place at 7:49 p.m. today from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Launch Complex 37.
It will be the third flight by a United Launch Alliance Delta 4 Heavy, whose trio of giant boosters produce 2 million pounds of thrust at liftoff.
The rocket is carrying a secret payload for the National Reconnaissance Office, the agency that owns and operates U.S. spy satellites.

A ULA Delta IV-Heavy rocket is scheduled to launch the NROL-26 classified spy satellite from SLC-37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on the 14th January, 2009.
The launch window is between 00:00 to 05:00 GMT on 14 January 2009.
The NROL-26 spacecraft launch mission being conducted for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office. The satellite is believed to be the first Intruder ELINT satellite, which will replace the current Mentor and Mercury intelligence-gathering systems.
