The planet Neptune will be occulted by the first quarter moon at 18:30 UT, 6th November, 2008, in the constellation Capricornus. Observers in the northern Britain will be well placed to see the occultation of Neptune. The next UK lunar occultation of Neptune will be at 23:55 UT, 25th June, 2016.
