* Astronomy

A new mainbelt  asteroid,  K08SK9B, was discovered on the 6th October 2008 by Polish students Krzysztof Bedkowski and Jakub Zaborowski, from the  XIII Secondary School in Szczecin.
The students worked under the supervision of their physics and astronomy teacher, Tomasz Skorwron.
The school is part of the international asteroid search campaign organised by NASA and the Astronomical Research Institute.
