A gamma-ray source, 3EG J0903-3531, in the Galactic Plane has been observed to have brightened by the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope, on the 6th October, 2008.
The Large Area Telescope (LAT) aboard the satellite  placed the  preliminary  position at (J2000): RA=136.25 deg, Dec=-35.45 deg with an error circle radius 0.08 deg (statistical).

Position(2000): RA 09 03 09.6, Dec  -35 31 48.0
