Morris Jarvis likes to think big.
By day he is a project engineer, working for Intel Corp. on its latest mega fabs. By night, he is working on a personal spacecraft.
Jarvis brought his latest prototype, the prototype Hermes spacecraft, to the show floor of the Intel Developer Forum here. Using off-the-shelf technologies he believes he can create a system that can take space tourists to the edge of the atmosphere for a fraction of what it might take NASA to build such a vehicle.
