Supernova 2008cq

A magnitude 13.4, Type Ia supernova,  2008cq,  was discovered  on the 29th May, 2008, by Berto Monard, in an anonymous galaxy located in the constellation Centaurus.
The supernova is located 9" west of the centre of  the galaxy.
