If NASA scrubs the next launch STS-127 launch it will be tied for the most failed launches with two other missions. Monday marked the fifth failed attempt for Endeavour which makes it the second most scrubbed flight following the STS-73 flight in 1995 and the STS-61C in 1986.
The US space agency Nasa has postponed the launch of the space shuttle Endeavour for a fifth time because of bad weather. The launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida had been scheduled for 18:51 local time (22:51 GMT). If the shuttle is unable to launch by Wednesday it will have to wait until the end of the month to make way for a Russian cargo ship.
Thunderstorms have once again forced NASA to call off the launch of space shuttle Endeavour. Launch managers halted the countdown just minutes before Endeavour and seven astronauts were supposed to blast off Monday evening.
