A bright Type IIb magnitude 14.3 supernova, 2007rw, was discovered on the 29th November 2007, by the Lick Observatory Supernova Search in the galaxy UGC 7798 in the constellation Virgo. The supernova is located 4".3 east and 8".9 north of the nucleus of the galaxy.
