A Type Ia magnitude 15.7, supernova, 2007hj, was discovered on the 1st September, 2007, by the Lick Observatory Supernova Search in the galaxy NGC 7461 in the constellation Pegasus.
The supernova is located 6".7 west and 14".0 north of the nucleus of the galaxy.

Position(2000): R.A. = 23h01m47s.89, Dec. = +15°35'11".4
