After a bit of  research i found that the first meteor  image was actually the space shuttle Atlantis's return
flight videotaped from  Guadalajara Mexico on Sept 21st, 2006.

No more information on the real meteor though.

From the very start  it was realised that there  the images used on the Croatian news video were created by the news team and  were computer generated or spliced images of  other meteors.
It now seems that  none of the images  are of the  superbolide.

A Croatian news site reports that last Wednesday, July 25th, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a meteor was spotted flying across their skies.

There were no large pieces of space junk due to re-enter the earths atmosphere that day, and in that direction ( SW to NE).

"A major daylight fireball tore across the skies of Slovenia, Croatia and Italy. It produced two bright flashes that reached an estimated magnitude of -20 and also loud sonic booms" - Jure Atanackov, veteran meteor observer,  Maribor, Slovenia.

 Meteor pao pokraj Samobora?
Prema rijeima oevidaca izgledalo je kao da neto gori na nebu. Zatim snana eksplozija, te podrhtavanje tla. Sve je trajalo nekih desetak sekundi.
