The North Korean military may be preparing to fire short-range anti-ship missiles today.
A warning was issued to shipping off the countries west coast to stay clear between May 25 and 27.
The short-range missile, with an estimated range of 130 kilometres, is to be fired from the coastal Musudan-ri test facility where North Korea launched its long-range rocket.

North Korea has test-fired short-range missiles off its western coast, the South Korean government has confirmed.
The tests came as Pyongyang warned that US demands over its nuclear programme could further delay its disabling of nuclear facilities as agreed last year. A South Korean presidential spokesman said the missile tests seemed to be part of "ordinary military training".

North Korea did not launch a short-range missile on June 19 according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency.
South Korean experts made a thorough analysis of a variety of data they had come to the conclusion that North Korea did not launch a short-range missile June 19.
On June 19, Japan's NHK TV reported that North Korea had launched a short-range missile towards the Sea of Japan for the third time in 45 days. It said the launch took place at 3:00 p.m. local time (6 a.m. GMT) which the Yonhap agency confirmed, adding that the missile was not ballistic.

North Korea has test-fired two short-range missiles off its west coast, South Korean officials say.
They are believed to be ground-to-ship or ship-to-ship missiles with a range of some 100km (60 miles), they say. They landed in North Korean waters.
Pyongyang test-fired at least one short-range missile at the end of May - off its east coast - as part of what appeared to be military exercises.

South Korea's defence ministry said the launches appeared to be part of a routine military exercise by the secretive communist state.
Reports from Japan and South Korea said that the tests involved a number of short-range anti-ship missiles.
