A possible magnitude 15.7, supernova (2007cj) was discovered on the 3rd May by the Lulin Observatory Found in IC 2531 in the constellation Antila. The possible supernova is located 1".1 east and 0".3 south of the centre of IC 2531. The type is unknown.
