A magnitude 16.0, supernova, 2007A, was discovered on the 2nd January, 2007, by Tim Puckett and T. Orff; LOSS, in the galaxy NGC 105.
The supernova was located 0".8 west and 10".8 north of the centre of NGC 105.

Position(2000): R.A. = 00h25m16s.68, Dec. = +12°53'12".7

As yet the type is unknown.
