Sunspot 10933 has fully emerged from the Suns eastern limb. The Sunspot has already completed one solar rotation and is the return of Sunspot 10930. Two weeks ago it was the source of four intense X-flares in mid-December. The sunspot is joined by another smaller sunspot, 10934, which is positioned slightly to the north.
Aurora Alert: it is predicted that a small solar stream will hit Earth tomorrow, and may cause mild geomagnetic storms.
