The full Amiga version of Real3D v3.5 is now available to download for free thanks to permission from Realsoft Graphics. The Real3D is famous ray-tracing and animation program. The software is provided as AmiKit add-on or ADF disks.

AmigaOS 5 made a covert appearance at an event outside the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), turning up in the guise of a version of Space Invaders running on a Windows Mobile 6-based smartphone.
Amiga the company was ostensibly showing AmigaAnywhere 2, the new version of its virtual machine technology. But taking Amiga President Bill McEwen aside for a moment, we discovered that AmigaAnywhere 2 is AmigaOS 5.

Italian programmer Mr. Andrea "AFXGroup" Palmaté, realized in just six months an alpha version of OWB (Origyn Web Browser) and keep it online as a Christmas gift for all Amiga community.

OWB is a modern browser with HTML 4.0 and CSS support and it is based on Webkit Engine, an Open Source HTML engine for mobile devices derived from Apple WebCore, which is itself derived from KHTML engine.
KHTML it is the engine of Apple Safari browser and KDE Konqueror browser.

ACube Systems Srl has announce the availability of the AmigaOS 4.0 for the Amiga 1200, 3000(T) or 4000(T) with a PowerPC CPU.
AmigaOS 4.0 was developed by Hyperion Entertainment VOF.

TLSFMem is an implementation of a very new memory allocation system called TLSF (two level segregated fit). TLSF was described in a paper in 2005 by the three Italian researchers M. Masmano, I. Ripoll, A. Crespo. Originally designed for Realtime Operating Systems, all allocation and free operations run with constant time complexity (O(1)). This is a major improvement over the original AmigaOS memory system, which gets slower while memory gets fragmented (O(m) where m is the number of fragments).

Get FLV files from YouTube etc.
This ARexx script can be used to grab some information from popular video portals like YouTube so you can download the FLV (Flash Video) files and play it using mplayer.
It is based on the youtube_downloader ARexx script from Fabien Coeurjoly.

A new version of AmiPodder, my utility that allows Amiga users to subscribe to audio and video podcasts, is now available.

AmiPodder 1.6 is written in AREXX using rxMUI and therefore works on OS 3.x, OS 4 and MorphOS. It's released as freeware and can be downloaded from:
