NGC 3655 (IRAS 11202+1651, MCG+03-29-039, UGC 6396 and PGC 34935) is a magnitude +11.7 spiral Seyfert 2 galaxy located 68 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. NGC 3655 can be found near the 5.5-magnitude star 81 Leonis.
The galaxy was discovered by the German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 30th December 1783.
