NGC 5754

NGC 5754 (also Arp 297, SDSS J144519.64+384352.3, UGC 9505 and PGC 52686) is a magnitude +13.1 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 208 ±15 million light-years away in the constellation Boötes.
The galaxy is a member of the Arp 297 interacting galaxy group: NGC 5752NGC 5753, NGC 5754, NGC 5755.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 16th May 1787.
