NGC 4454 (also MCG 0-32-14, PGC 41083 and UGC 7606) is a magnitude +11.9 face-on barred Spiral Galaxy located 111 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo .
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough on the 17th April 1789.
