So far no fragments of meteorite or space junk has been found.
The hole 29 cm long and 40 cm deep did not contain any meteorite material.
It is rumoured that the meteorite was stolen by local farmers soon after it fell at 7:00 pm on Monday (local time)

A unusual aspect of this fall is that meteorites do not normally start fires.
Local newspapers have reported at least five fires were started in a large area close by to the highway.
It is possible that the fires were lit by the robbers to clear the area of vegetation and perhaps even light up their search...

The "fireball" created a small impact crater in the forest and caused panic amongst nearby residents, who thought that an aeroplane had crashed.
The police who arrived at the scene saw only a crater and evidence of burnt and broken trees.
