NGC 6263 (MCG 5-40-8, UGC 10618 and PGC 59292) is a magnitude +13.7 elliptical galaxy located 474 million light-years away in the constellation Hercules.

The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector in Malta on the 28th June 1864.

RA 16 56 43.1, Dec +27 49 21
