NGC 7008 (also Fetus Nebula and PK 093+05.2) is a magnitude +12.0 planetary nebula located 2800 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus.
The planetary nebula was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire on the 14th October 1787.
