NGC 7259 (also ESO 467-50, MCG -5-52-69 and PGC 68718) is a magnitude +13.1 spiral galaxy located 82 million light-years away in the constellation Piscis Austrinus.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 28th September 1834.
