NGC 805 (also MCG 5-5-50, UGC 1566 and PGC 9399) is a magnitude +13.5 spiral galaxy located 209 million light-years away in the constellation Triangulum.
The galaxy was discovered by German-Danish astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 26th September 1864.
