NGC 7617 (also MCG 1-59-51A and PGC 71113) is a magnitude +13.8 spiral galaxy located 192 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by German-Danish astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 23rd September 1864.
