NGC 7678 (also Arp 28, IRAS 23259+2208, MCG 4-55-17, UGC 12614 and PGC 71534) is a magnitude +11.8 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 160 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire on the 15th September 1784.

The galaxy hosted supernova 2009ga.

Right Ascension 23h 28m 27.8s, Declination +22 25' 16"
