NGC 890 (also MCG 5-6-30, UGC 1823 and PGC 8997) is a magnitude +11.6 lenticular galaxy located 183 million light-years away in the constellation Triangulum.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire on the 13th September 1784.

Right Ascension 02h 22m 01.0s, Declination +33° 15' 59"
