A magnitude 16.0 supernova, 2006ac, was discovered on the 9th February in the galaxy NGC 4619, by LOSS .
It is located 4E 22N of the nucleus.

Position(2000): RA = 12 41 44.86 Dec = +35 04 07.1

It has been identified as a type Ia
