NGC 4824 (also IRAS 12549-1228, MCG -2-33-72 and PGC 44328) is a magnitude +14.4 star located in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The star was discovered by French astronomer Guillaume Bigourdan using a 30.48 cm (12 inch) refractor at the Arcetri Observatory on the 19th April 1885.
