NGC 3656 (also Arp 155, IRAS 11208+5406, MCG 9-19-63, UGC 6403 and PGC 34989) is a magnitude +12.3 elliptical galaxy located 133 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy is gravitationally interacting with the neighbouring galaxy MCG +09-19-064: these two galaxies are listed as Arp 155 in the Atlas of peculiar galaxies by Halton Arp.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 14th April 1789.

The galaxy has hosted supernova 1963K and SN 1973C

Right Ascension 11h 23m 38.6s, Declination +53° 50' 32"
