NGC 3678 (also MCG 5-27-71, UGC 6443 and PGC 35177) is a magnitude +13.6 spiral galaxy located 331 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 13th April 1831.
