NGC 5115 (also MCG 2-34-10, UGC 8408 and PGC 46754) is a magnitude +13.7 spiral galaxy located 336 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 25th March 1887.
