NGC 5952 (also PGC 55496) is a magnitude +14.5 lenticular galaxy located 538 million light-years away in the constellation Serpens.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector on the 25th March 1865.
