NGC 2909 is a magnitude +13.3 double star located in the constellation Ursa Major.
The double star was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 12th March 1828.
