NGC 2446 (also IRAS 07446+5444, MCG 9-13-58, UGC 4027 and PGC 21860) is a magnitude +12.9 spiral galaxy located 261 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 10th February 1831.
