Garhi Yasin 27°53' N, 68°32' E
Shikarpur taluk, Sukkur district, Sind, Pakistan
Fall 1917, January, during darkness
Iron. (HE) Medium octahedrite; bandwidth 1.1mm, with silicate inclusions (HE).
Approx. recovered weight: 380 g
After the appearance of a 'ball of fire', and detonations, a mass of 380g was seen by a Sikh to fall and was given to E.L. Moysey next day, E.L. Moysey, letter of 2 October, 1924, in Min. Dept., NHM, London.
Classification and analysis, 8.3% Ni, 20.9 ppm Ga, 65 ppm Ge, 4.6 ppm lr, E.R.D. Scott & J.T. Wasson (1976). Description, thoroughly annealed, V.F. Buchwald

The Garhi Yasin (IIE iron) meteorite fell in Sind, Pakistan, in January, 1917.
A total mass of 380 g was recovered.
