Cosina meteorite, classified as a chondrite of olivine and bronzite H5, fell down near Dolores Hidalgo city, Guanajuato (21° 10' N 100° 52' W) in January of 1844. It is an unusual ordinary chondrite with a highly porous lithology

The Cosina (H5) meteorite fell in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico, at 11:00 a.m. on the ??th January, 1844.
A total mass of 1.2 kg was recovered.

Description: Fragment with one sawed surface, colour dark gray

21° 10'N, 100° 52'W
