NGC 2310 (also ESO 309-7, McG -7-15-1, AM 0652-405, and PGC 19811) is a magnitude +11.7 lenticular galaxy located 53 million light-years away in the constellation Puppis.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 2nd January 1835

Right Ascension 06 53 53.8 Declination -40° 51' 49"
