NGC 84 is a magnitude +15.0 star located in the constellation Andromeda. Some sources (wrongly?) indicate that NGC 84 is the nearby galaxy MCG+04-02-010 (LEDA 1384).
The star was discovered by French astronomer Guillaume Bigourdan using a 30.48 cm (12 inch) refractor at the Paris Observatory on the 14th November 1884.
