NGC 1932 (also ESO 85-77, HD 271203, 2MASS J05222717-6609064) is a magnitude +10.1 star in the constellation Dorado.
The star was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 2nd November 1834.
