Supernova 2006N is a Type Ia supenova.

A magnitude 15.0 Supernova, 2006N, was discovered on the 21st January, 2006, by Mark Armstrong in the galaxy MCG +11-8-12, in the constellation Camelopardalis (z = 0.014277)
It is located 0".4 east and 0".1 north of the centre.


Position(2000): R.A. = 06h08m31s.24, Dec. = +64°43'25".1
Size 14'1 x 14'1

As yet the type is unknown
