12 October 2012 a fireball was witnessed over Beni Yacoub, near Tata and Taliounie, Morocco. The strewnfield was searched over extensively, but the meteorite was extremely friable and the majority of the mass disintigrated mid-flight, leaving only small crusted fragments and loose chondrules to be found.

The Beni Yacoub (H4/5 chondrite?) meteorite fell in Tata, Morocco, at 04.00 local time, 12th October, 2012.
An unknown total mass has been recovered.
