Two shepherds witnessed the fall of a single piece (6.8 kg) in bright day light, and reported to the local police. It is an iron mass with regmaglyphs on the surface. A cut piece of ~20 g has been given to PRL, Ahmedabad for analysis.

The Kavarpura (Iron, IIE-an) meteorite was recovered in Rajasthan, India, on 29 August 2006.
A total mass of 6.8 kg was recovered.

25°8'36"N 75°48'48"E
