There will be a total solar eclipse on July 16, 2186, passing over the southern Galápagos Islands (with a maximum eclipse of 4 minutes occurring over the southern tip of Española Island), northern South America, specifically, the northern tip of Ecuador (with a maximum totality of 3 minutes and 26 seconds on Isla Santa Rosa), central Colombia (including Bogota which will experience 4 minutes and 50 seconds of totality), central Venezuela, and northern Guyana (with a maximum eclipse of 7 minutes 4 seconds just north of Anna Regina).
