Supernova 2006B

A magnitude 16.7 supernova 2006B, was discovered on the 8th January, 2006, by Tim Puckett and G. Sostero, in the galaxy UGC 12538, in the constellation Pegasus.
It is located 1".0 west and 2".9 north of the centre.


Position(2000): R.A. = 23h21m09s.78, Dec. = +33°24'01".2
As yet the type is unknown.
