A magnitude 15.6 supernova 2005na, was discovered on the 31 December 2005, by Jack Newton, D. Ceravolo, and Tim Puckett, in the galaxy UGC 3634 in the constellation Aries. The supernova is located 1".6 west and 7".4 south of the centre of UGC 3634. As yet the type is unknown
