* Astronomy

A magnitude 14.7 Type Ia supernova, 2012hr, was discovered by P. Marples (BOSS) on the 16th December, 2012, in the spiral galaxy ESO 121- G 026 in the constellation Pictor. 
The supernova is located 2.3" west and 93.6" north from the center of the galaxy.
The galaxy has also hosted supernovae 2009mg and 2008M.
